DevScale ("DevScale," "we," "us," or "our") is a digital studio based in Amman, Jordan. We design and build custom CRMs, internal tools, websites, and automation systems for our clients. This policy covers the information we collect through devscale-jo.com, our client portal ("the Portal"), and related services (together, the "Services").

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us directly — your name, email address, company name, project details, and message when you submit an inquiry, request a quote, or create a Portal account.
• Information generated through the Portal — project data, support tickets, messages, files, and pipeline records you or your team create while using the Portal.
• Information collected automatically — basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected via standard analytics.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to inquiries and provide quotes for services;
• Create and manage your account, projects, and support tickets in the Portal;
• Send transactional emails — for example, notifying our team of a new inquiry, or notifying you about ticket replies and project updates;
• Improve, secure, and maintain our Services; and
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to serve third-party advertising.

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Services, under agreements that require them to protect your data. These currently include:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage for the Portal;
• Resend — delivery of transactional email notifications (inquiry alerts, ticket replies);
• Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DevScale, our clients, or others.

We retain inquiry and account information for as long as needed to provide the Services and to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Portal data (projects, tickets, pipeline records) is retained for the duration of the client relationship and a reasonable period afterward, after which it may be deleted or anonymized.

You can:

• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information;
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in the email;
• Ask us to close your Portal account and remove associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and row-level security on Portal data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.

Our Services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
