Terms & Conditions

By accessing devscale-jo.com or the DevScale client portal ("the Portal"), or by submitting an inquiry or signing an engagement with DevScale, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

DevScale provides custom software development, including CRMs, internal tools, websites, and automation systems. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any paid engagement are set out in a separate proposal or statement of work agreed between DevScale and the client. These Terms govern use of the website and Portal generally; where a signed proposal conflicts with these Terms on matters of scope or payment, the signed proposal controls.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Portal login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting an inquiry.
• DevScale may suspend or terminate Portal access for accounts used in violation of these Terms or in a way that threatens the security or integrity of the Services.
• You are responsible for content submitted through the Portal (tickets, messages, files) and confirm you have the right to share it with us.

Fees for paid engagements are set out in the applicable proposal or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due upon receipt, and DevScale may pause work on an engagement for accounts with overdue balances.

Unless otherwise agreed in a signed proposal, DevScale transfers ownership of the final deliverables (code, designs, and assets produced specifically for your engagement) to you upon full payment. DevScale retains ownership of its own pre-existing tools, frameworks, internal libraries, and general know-how, and may reuse non-confidential techniques and components in work for other clients.

Each party agrees to keep the other party's confidential business and technical information private, and to use it only for the purposes of the engagement. This obligation survives the end of any engagement.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Portal, other accounts, or DevScale systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
• Upload malicious code or content that infringes the rights of others.

The website and Portal are provided "as is" and "as available." Except as expressly stated in a signed proposal, DevScale makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevScale will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or Portal. DevScale's total liability arising from use of the website or Portal (as distinct from a signed engagement, which is governed by its own terms) will not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to DevScale in the twelve months preceding the claim.

DevScale may suspend or terminate your access to the Portal at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Services. You may stop using the Services and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a signed proposal with a client specifies otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
